The logical consequence of this position is the pioneering role which we have had for a long time with respect to quality:

• In 1993 Wollsdorf Leder was the FIRST EUROPEAN TANNERY to be awarded the EN ISO 9001 quality certificate.
• In 2000 Wollsdorf Leder became the FIRST TANNERY IN THE WORLD to be awarded the ISO TS 16949 quality certificate. Currently the highest possible quality award, it combines the VDA 6.1 European standard and the American QS 9000. The standard contains 332 requirements and was specially designed for the high-quality demands of the international automotive industry.
• In 2002 Wollsdorf Leder became the FIRST COMPANY IN THE WORLD with the new leather backscore technology for leather airbag solutions.
